One of Japan’s premier jazz bassists, continuously expanding the possibilities of the fretless bass. Taking up the electric bass at age 11 and the double bass at 16, he graduated from the Osaka College of Music in 2007.

While based in Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara, he possesses a truly global mindset. His extensive musical background spans jazz, classical, and R&B, complemented by an exceptional wit that defies all conventional frameworks.

His true essence lies in an overwhelming capacity to make the frontline shine, an expressive power that weaves beautiful, singing melodies, and—in striking contrast—a transcendent virtuosity backed by flawless technique. In the performances of THE SUPER 3, he acts as the "catalyst," instantly repainting the colors of the space and dictating the musical direction.
